![]() The unit just times out after a while if the bike is stationary. I had to wrap mine with some electric tape before mounting. Included sensor and magnet were easy enough to attach and haven't required any adjustment after 30+ miles of on road and mild off-road use. No LED shadows! Easy to read in all light conditions. The white letters on black background is FANTASTIC. The good news is that I didn't scratch it by doing so! Still, a little extra scratch protection of the plastic face seems prudent. Because the quick disconnect lever is easy to engage, I've accidentally dropped it on my driveway a few times. A more flexible screen protector would work better. I tried to use a spare smart watch screen protector, but the Cateye is made of plastic and my very rigid screen protector didn't work well and I ended up removing it. I moved my reflector in front to protect the disconnect lever. I may have missed one and I'm sure that isn't the correct order. ![]() One button to scroll through time, odo, trip distance, speed, trip ave speed, trip max speed. Very easy to glance down and see what's what. I have it mounted so it floats just above my handlebar stem. The form factor is what attracted me to this unit and, after using it for a few weeks, I absolutely love it. We've tried Topeak, Bondrager, and nothing is as good to set up, see, and use. The instructions have the tire and rim size to set the computer, that was trial and error as the instructions don't say, press and hold till the 4 digit numbers blink and you can move on. The setup buttons are wee small in the back, but after you get it set you want them out of the way. it is at the top and marked on the back side opposite the battery cover. Second, note the sensor area is not in the center! Nope. The instructions are clear, if you mount it on the right fork, the unit faces the rear and the sensor zone is up. It was easy to correct, all i needed was two new zip ties to flip it around. Problems: Admittedly I did mount the sender facing the wrong way with the sensor zone to the bottom. Besides buying the 2032 they come in a pack of two to start with. On the bondrager 4w it has the c2032 which is common, but the sender uses an A23 mini, not common. Unlike the other wireless computer senders both use the same battery. The magnet is a nice larger size, and the mount of that needs no tools. Assembly and mounting is not too challenging. What I really like about this computer: 1. I like seeing the mileage, the speed, the average. Bike computers add to the experience of riding.
